Terms of Service

1. About the Service

Thank You App (the "Service") is a web application for writing and scheduling messages of gratitude. Operator: Tomáš Střída, Sudoměřská 650/48, Praha 3, 130 00, Fyzická osoba, contact tomas.strida@gmail.com.

These Terms govern your relationship with the operator. By using the Service, you agree to them.

2. Account

To use most features you need an account (email and password, or Google sign-in).
You provide truthful information at registration. The account is personal and non-transferable.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. Do not share your password.
Notify us at tomas.strida@gmail.com if you suspect account compromise.
The operator may terminate your account for breach of these Terms.

3. What you may do

Send personal messages of gratitude to people you know and who have a reasonable basis to expect a message from you.
Schedule messages for the future.
Create series of related messages.
Manage your address book of recipients.

4. What you may NOT do

The Service is for personal expressions of gratitude, not for mass communication.

Send advertising, marketing, or unsolicited messages (spam).
Send threatening, abusive, vulgar, discriminatory, or unlawful content.
Send messages to email addresses obtained in bulk (scraping, purchased lists, etc.).
Impersonate another person or falsify the sender's identity.
Attempt to circumvent Service limits (rate limiting, security measures).
Reverse engineer, scrape, perform denial-of-service or other attacks against the infrastructure.
Use the Service for any illegal activity.

Violations result in immediate and permanent account termination without refund of any voluntary contribution. Inappropriate content may be reported by recipients; reported messages undergo human review.

5. Pricing and voluntary contribution

The Service is free. No subscription, no paid features.
You may voluntarily contribute via Buy Me a Coffee. A contribution does not entitle you to extra features, priority support, or SLA.
The operator reserves the right to introduce paid features in the future; you will be informed with reasonable notice.

6. Availability and SLA

The Service is provided "as is". The operator strives for high availability but guarantees no SLA. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance.

The operator is not liable for damages caused by:

non-delivery due to recipient's spam filter, full inbox, or invalid address
outages of hosting infrastructure (Railway), email provider (Brevo), or internet connectivity
force majeure, third-party cyber attacks, or legislative changes

7. Liability for content

You bear full responsibility for the content of your messages. The operator is neither author nor editor.
Recipients of inappropriate messages can report them. The sending account is automatically blocked pending investigation.
The operator's total liability is capped at the amount of your voluntary contribution over the past 12 months, otherwise zero.

8. Intellectual property

The software, design, landing page content, and the "Thank You" brand are property of the operator.
The content of your messages (your gratitude text) remains your intellectual property. You grant the operator only a limited license to store and deliver it to the recipient.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time: Account settings → Delete account. Data is removed within 30 days.
The operator may terminate the account for breach of these Terms, suspected misuse, or operational reasons (with reasonable notice).

10. Privacy

Personal data processing is governed by the separate Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these Terms.

11. Governing law

This relationship is governed by Czech law.
The competent court is the one having jurisdiction over the operator's seat.
EU consumers may use the ODR platform for out-of-court dispute resolution.

12. Changes

We will notify you of material changes by email and show a dialog on your next sign-in with the new version, which you can accept or reject (by closing your account). Minor textual edits are made without notice.
